Pumpkin Boat
Connor used to reside in a small town near a lake each year on the night before Halloween. Connor and his friends Cory and Ryan would each place a pumpkin in the lake on Halloween. They would travel to the other side of the lake to see if their pumpkins had arrived.
On a cold October night, Connor had gathered his friends at the lake. They carefully set their pumpkins in the dark water the boys knew that they should head home there had recently been a kidnapping.
After all, Connor and Ryan started to walk back but something had caught Cory eye he informed the other that he thought he saw something behind a tree that was only a handful of yards away from the tree lay in front of the thick forest letting anything that used to lurk behind a hastily escaped view.
Early in the afternoon Connor and his friends were at the lake eager to start the long trek to the other side. there had been a brief downpour the previous night. Hence the ordinary bear dirt path had shifted into a damp mud. As the boys were walking Ryan pointed out what looked to be the light footprint traveling down the trail. However, Connor and Cory didn’t think much of it as they continued down the path, they spotted the lake. The boys ran towards it eagerly with anticipation when they stepped foot on the small patch of the grass that bordered the lake Connor noticed something in his pumpkin.
Average size pumpkins with a stem that curled and ended in a point rested on the grass. Ryan pumpkins were on the shore about a yard away. Cory pumpkin, however, wasn’t anywhere to be found when Connor was at his house, he started to carve the pumpkin however something was wrong the pumpkins had a small slit near the top.
When Cory finished carving the top of the pumpkin. He noticed a small bag inside the contain a note that read have a jolly Halloween. Connor was visibly perplexed by the note why did someone put this in my pumpkin.
Connor thought aloud Connor decided aloud that it might have been in there before he even bought the pumpkin the slit was hardly visible so he could have overlooked it that night. Connor and his friends were ecstatic to go trick or treating they walked around the neighborhood for about an hour before coming to halt at a certain house.
Cory stopped the other and pointed out what he thought was the pumpkin that he had released into the water on the previous night. Connor and Ryan both informed him that the pumpkin just looked similar and was not, in fact, one hour later Connor and his friends were at the house comparing how much candy they had each received.
Connor was going through his candy when he felt a small piece of paper. The paper read I hope you had a jolly Halloween. Connor gasped in shock he quickly informed his friends about the note he had found earlier in the day and asked them if they had found similar notes among their candy.
Ryan and Cory carefully searched through their candy to no avail. Now Connor was scared he started to question everything in the past couple of days. Connor liked that idea he put his candy away and said goodbye to his friends. The next day Connor hadn’t gone to school but his parents had to work. so, he was alone after a while he got hungry so he reached into the jar.
He felt a strange object so he pulled it out in his hand was a square piece of candy with a red wrapper sealing it shot one side of the wrapper was slightly transparent. Connor unwrapped her candy only to find a box. The box had a small camera lens on the side and the top red soon you won’t be so jolly.
Connor stumbled backward and ran outside in a panic. Connor’s backyard was right next to a dense forest so he tried to flee but Halloween rushed to him and grasped him. The boys struggling stopped after some time and Halloween was easily able to drag him into the forest needless to say he won’t be jolly for a long time.
Then Halloween started laughing loudly.
Haunted Building
The city’s first hotel with more than thirteen floors had a huge Halloween party to celebrate the opening.
Each floor was set up like a maze, decorated with cobwebs and other Halloween decorations. There were lots of people dressed up as ghosts and ghouls to frighten the partygoers. The lights of all the floors were dimmed. An exciting prize was hidden on the top floor, and the first person to reach the prize will win it. But it was not an easy task to get the prize.
Stephen and Mary were two of the partygoers Who were crossing the maze very easily? He had done the maze of the first few floors without fear. But As they moved up the building, the hallways on each floor grew darker and scarier.
When they got to the twelfth floor, Stephen and Mary saw a blood-curdling doll. Seeing which Mary shout very loudly. As they made their way through the maze, they heard more screams and cries for help. Stephen and Mary run towards the elevator. Then suddenly, they saw blood dripping from the ceiling.
There is a sound from the lift, use me. The elevator dinged, and the doors slowly opened, which was strange because every other time they used the elevator, the doors had been quick and smooth. The light in the elevator was flickering as they stepped in and, as the doors began to close, the lights went out completely. Blood dripping from the elevator ceiling.
And then, screams so loud the entire building heard them begin to ring out. The partygoers thought it was part of the scary Halloween theme. But then, the owners of the building turned on all the lights and asked everyone to return to the lobby.
But when people tried to use the elevator, it never came. The bell would ding, but the doors wouldn’t open, and they were all forced to use the stairs.
Down in the lobby, the building owners explained to all that they had not played the sounds of the screams. Hearing this, everyone got scared. And, as they did a check of everyone who had come back, they realized Stephen and Mary had not returned.
Just then, the doors to the elevator opened. It was empty except for Stephen’s watch, one of Mary’s shoes, and a pool of blood. Stephen and Mary have never seen again to the building and the building owners shield the thirteenth floor. So, nobody would disappear there again.
