One day when the boy and the girl just finished their date, the girl went home and her boyfriend called her.
Boy: Hey Baby, how are you?
Girl: Good.
Boy: You sure.
Girl: I am fine.
Boy: I will call tomorrow to check up on you.
Girl: Alright. Bye.
Boy: Bye.
And when they hug up the girl went to sleep. The boy stayed up all night and thought deeply about his sweet girlfriend. When it was about 10 o’clock in the morning, the girl called her boyfriend.
She called him and asked him if she could stay at his house for the night. He said okay and at five o’clock. She arrived at her boyfriend’s house.
Boy: What’s up with you today? You’re so quiet. So Solemn. What’s Wrong?
Girl: Nothing. It’s nothing. You know what. I’m gonna go home now. I didn’t mean to waste your time. Sorry, I’m going home.
Boy: I’ll walk you home.
Girl: Okay.
So, the boyfriend walked her home and kissed her on the cheek, and left her to go inside her house. He ran back home without looking back and texted her saying “Is everything, okay babe?” She didn’t text him back.
So, he called her and the answering picked it up. he thought to himself, “I wonder why she is acting so weird? And why is she not picking up?” The next day at school the girl gave him a note.
Girl: Don’t you dare read it until I tell you to.
Boy: I promise, baby.
He stuck it inside his pocket not daring himself to read it. After school, the girl’s father picked her up in his pickup truck. While the boy walked home with his buddies. But what was going to happen next was going to turn the boy’s life upside down. His cellphone rang.
Boy: Hello.
Doctor: Yes, I’m from the ER department of Aloysius Hospital. Do you know a Miss Sophia Jones?
Boy: Yes, Of course, she is my girlfriend. What’s wrong with her?
Doctor: I’m very sorry, but your girlfriend is no longer here with us.
He choked back tears and sobbed into the phone.
Boy: how did she?
Doctor: She died from a brain tumor, according to our medical files. She has had a brain tumor since she was 5. We were going to remove the brain tumor but her father turned it down at the last minute. She also told me before she died to tell you that you can read the note she gave you.
He thought to himself, “The note!” He hung the phone and went to grab the note.
NOTE READ
Dearest Randy,
I love you with all of my heart and wanted to say this. I have had a brain tumor since I was 5 and the doctors were planning on doing on removing it with surgery. But my alcoholic father turned it down. So, therefore, the doctors gave me 13 years to live. I went over to sleep at your house, but I couldn’t do it. Which is why I wanted to go back home. I love you very much. Randy, please don’t forget me and always keep me in your heart. Forever and Always.
